Bus ridre from Gorakpur to Katmandu became 14 hrs... the driver locked the keys insde...luckily we had locksmiths among us...who saved us!!!
Crossing the border to Nepal... India immigration was worse than the Indian trains...
The drive to Katmandu was cozy.. .. 9 in a small 4 wheel...
2 days of preparation in Katmandu...
Took a flight to Lukla (2642m)..on 27th April...where the trekking starts...
Arrival to Lukla..
Began our trekking to Phakding.... with 13 to 16 kilos on our backs... took us about 4 hrs to reach.
Next day was the hardest...the steepest and the most challenging days of our lives!! ..took us about 9 hrs to reach Namchey....(3444m)
The view was amazing... was worth the effort!!
walk back from Syngabouche to Namche.... 3880m - acclimatizing for the next journey to Tembouche (3860m) - will saty overnight.
Sorry for the delay in updates as we did not have much access and time for internet.....all the delays with the train and the bus and the flight to Lukla messed up a bit!
