Hiking to Mt.Everest Base Camp 2010
Our group planned to hike the Himalayas, this idea came to us from watching our friend AL's latest video http://althenomad.blogspot.com of his trip to everest base camp. After seeing his video we decided to take this challenge. With months of intense training we are ready to embark on a journey of a life time, we will be departing on the 20th of April.

ReplyDeletewhen i went there with friends, we had an understanding that we would tell each other about any possible symptoms of altitude sickness, however mild it may be. if u develop any symptom, even a mild headache, don't ascend until it's gone. if the condition worsens, descend at once! every year a handful of people die while trekking and almost all are people who ignore the warning symptoms of altitude sickness. apart from this you should have a fantastic time out there...good luck!
